and so to begin . . . "dOse oF TaLenT": Lisa Barthelson

I have realized i LOVE to share!! i love sharing a book that i'm enchanted by, or share a new recipe by inviting friends over to try it.
i love sharing interesting places and undiscovered beauty.
and i especially LOVE to share inspiring and interesting art and artists.
this love motivated me to start a series of posts on FB that i called, dose of talent, and i LOVED posting the works of contemporary artist that had caught my attentions.  but alas, there were a few life events caused me to take a break,  but i'm back baby! in fact i feel so strongly about continuing
my "dOse oF TaLenT"  that i have created this blog.

here i plan to share a few photos of an artist's work, along with links to where you can find more information about that "dOse oF TaLenT" artist.
i intend to be brief, because last time i undertook my '"dOse oF TaLenT", the entries  became longer and longer (because i had so much i wanted to say and share) and the amount of time it took to post made it impossible to continue.
and as the name suggests it is a dose of what these creatives can do.  and i used that word 'creatives' because i plan to expand this sampling to more than visual artists, as our world is full of some many souls, following their passions and producing works that need to be shared.

and so to begin . . .

"dOse oF TaLenT" 4 feb:
Lisa Barthelson

Lisa Barthelson. Lisa is a woman of many, many talents; environment sculpture, print making, mixed media, encaustic. You name it, Lisa can make something amazing out of it. This fact is proven time and time again with her 'Family Debris Series'. Also last year she started a daily series called 'circling round' where she posts a photograph invoking the idea of circles with a haiku poem. Here is a tiny sampling of her work, listed below are link to see more of her work. She is also exhibiting with Kay Hartung at  Fountain Street Fine Art, the opening is this Saturday.
